Pastime Bat Co. was originally established in 2018 in a Garage in Greeley, CO. Owner and Operator Layton Marcy started making bats completely by hand on his grandpa’s lathe to use in his college summer league. The bats’ quality caught on to teammates at the time who were tired of spending an arm and a leg to get a good quality wood bat. From this Layton’s pastime of making baseball bats for fun became a pastime for some extra income through college.

The goal of Pastime Bat Co. is to provide quality and affordable custom wood bats to its customers. With the rising cost of lumber and the inflation of prices for the cost of swinging a good wood bat, we want to make sure that you are not only swinging a quality bat just how you like it but at an affordable price.
